Welcome to the Symposium Dinner at BaneGaarden

BaneGaarden is the official venue for our upcoming symposium dinner.

Nestled between Vesterbro and Sydhavnen, BaneGaarden is a hidden green oasis right in the heart of Copenhagen. Originally built by the Danish State Railways (DSB) in 1909, these nine historic wooden barns were used to store materials for railway tracks and train carts. After sitting idle since the 1950s allowing wild nature, old trees, and lush greenery to take over this unique site has been respectfully restored into a vibrant, sustainable food and culture destination.

A Dinner Rooted in Sustainability

We will enjoy a wonderful dinner inside these beautifully restored, heritage-worthy wooden barns. In alignment with BaneGaarden’s vision to inspire a better, greener world, our menu will showcase the very best of local, organic, and sustainably sourced ingredients, with a strong focus on seasonal vegetables. It is the perfect setting to unwind, connect, and enjoy incredible food in a space that truly champions craftsmanship, reuse, and biodiversity.
We are thoroughly looking forward to spending this special evening together with you in this remarkable green beacon of Copenhagen!
